Manayunk Brewery Likely Closed Until June Due to Flooding

The brewery had to toss 1,500 cases of canned beer and about 4,000 gallons from the brewing vats, according to a Philly.com report.

The Manayunk Brewery, which has been closed since April 30 due to flooding, likely won't reopen until June 1, Philly.com reported.

More than five feet of water poured into the brewery during last month's flooding, ruining the brewery's electrical system, Philly.com reported.  Damage to the building will likely exceed a half million dollars, Philly.com reported.
