Moms Eat Local: D'Alessandro's Steaks and Hoagies

Find out how kid-friendly D'Alessandro's Steaks and Hoagies in Roxborough is.

Moms know how tough it can be to eat out with little ones. Patch wants to help you know before you walk in the door if D'Alessandro's Steaks and Hoagies is a good place to eat with your children.

Is there a kids’ menu? No but kids can order burgers, cheeseburgers, or a smaller version of their hoagies made into sandwiches. The kids' size sandwiches are usually just lunch meat and cheese on a smaller roll or hamburger bun.

Are there healthy options on the kids’ meal? A smaller burger is a good source of protein and a turkey and cheese sandwich is much healthier than most fast food kid's meals.

How does the restaurant deal with food allergies? Alert the staff and they will try to accommodate you as best they can.

Is the restaurant so quiet that any childish outburst will draw attention or is there enough noise that a small cry is likely to go unnoticed? There were plenty of kids at the counter and outside. Small cries definitely go unnoticed.
