Patch Picks: St. Patty's Day Fun

We suggest five places to check out locally.

For this week’s installment of ‘Patch Picks,’ we’ve decided to focus on March 17, specifically the fun-filled holiday of St. Patrick’s Day.

We’re offering a small list of suggested places to check out to rein in the Irish fun fest.

1). , located at 4100 Main St. in Manayunk, will offer live music all night on Thursday. There will also be an open buffet from 6 to 8 p.m., free giveaways and drink specials.

2). , which has locations at 111 Cotton Street in Manayunk, and 473 Leverington Avenue in Roxborough, is one of those local spots that welcomes holiday celebration. Be sure to stop by if you’re in an Irish pub-type mood.

 

3). St. Patty’s Day will also be on display at the , located at 105 Grape St. in Manayunk. The venue will play host to live music Thursday night, from the likes of The Parsnip Revolt and Brother Han, as well as offering various drink specials.

 

4). at 4417 Main St. in Manayunk will also be a great place in which to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. On Thursday evening, in addition to the drink specials, there will be live music, turntable tunes and a live WMMR broadcast. Don’t miss out on this good time.

 

5). Last, but certainly not least, we’re recommending you drop by the always popular , located at 4120 Main St. in Manayunk. Beginning at 5 p.m. Thursday, the venue will offer drink specials, a traditional Irish dinner and live acoustic music.
