PECO Reports Scattered Power Outages

Power briefly went out in the Andorra Shopping Center this afternoon.

Roxborough Patch has gotten reports from Pizzeria DiMeo's that power in the Andorra Shopping Center went out at approximately 2:30 p.m.

They reported back at 2:45 p.m. that the power was back on.

With the oncoming storm and blustery conditions, power outages could be expected throughout the area.

According to the National Weather Service:

THERE IS THE CHANCE THAT ENOUGH WET SNOW WILL ACCUMULATE ON LIMBS AND WIRES AND COUPLED WITH THE WIND TO CAUSE SCATTERED POWER OUTAGES. BE PREPARED FOR POSSIBLE POWER OUTAGES.

Experts say that the Philadelphia area could see between 2 and 2 inches of snow overnight with wind gusts up to 45 mph.
