'Rocky Horror' Does Time Warp at Grape Room
Manayunk music venue hosts Friday night cult classic screening/party.
Put your best Riff Raff, Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Brad/Janet costumes on and get ready for a rollicking drag night as The Rocky Horror Picture Show returns to Manayunk Friday.
For the second consecutive year, the Grape Room invites patrons to a take in a "Science Fiction/Double Feature" with a Rocky Horror-themed party, just in time for Halloween.
Starting at 7:30 p.m., the venue screens the cult classic. That's a predecessor to the live "Rocky Horror" experience.

Various singers and performers from the groups The SlotCars, Virtual Machine and Surrender Friday plan live renditions of Richard O'Brien's iconic soundtrack. Promised songs include "The Time Warp" and "Sweet Transvestite," plus more. The bands play from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Rocky Horrorfest costs $7 and, of course, costumes are encouraged. The Grape Room is a 21-plus venue.
