Small Business Speaker Series Kicking Off in Manayunk

East River Bank is launching a year-long speaker series "Navigating Your Business Through Challenging Economic Waters" later this month and the kick-off event is scheduled to be held in Manayunk. 

The event will be held Sept. 20 at McGillicuddy's from 5:30 to 7 p.m. State Rep. Pam DeLissio will speak at the kick-off and address, a release from the bank said, the state of businesses in Pennsylvania and focus on her involvement in the newly formed Small Business Advisory Council. A discussion and questions from the audience will follow her remarks.

The monthly small business speaker series, which will continue in October and November and roll into 2012, will feature a wide array of recognized leaders who will provide access to timely information, as well as meaningful insight and support, a release from the bank stated.
