The Foodery Is Headed To The Ridge
The Foodery is purchasing its Ridge Avenue location from the Roxborough Development Corporation.
Well it's official, the Foodery is coming and the Roxborough Development Corporation is going.
The Foodery, that already has two Philadelphia locations, is set to settle on the purchase of the Ridge Avenue building in early December and James Calamia, operations manager for the development corporation said. The Foodery could open as early as February or March, but nothing is definite, Calamia added.
According to its website, the Foodery offers a selection of more than 800 American and imported craft beers that are available by the bottle or a make-your-own six pack.

The establishment also offers deli sandwiches, snacks and a variety of chocolates and cheeses.
"I think it's great," Calamia said. "It's going to bring something new to the corridor and open up more diversity. Hopefully it will be an example to other businesses."
