Although nothing could be voted on becuase representatives from the restaurants were not at the meeting, Hunter and Council President Kevin Smith said they were interested in having the new restaurants sign an agreement that limits its hours until no later than 12 a.m. and regulates the establishments noise levels in regards to live bands, where the trash is picked up and whether or not cover is allowed.

"We're asking for the 12 a.m. closing to address the late-night food issue that is already out of control in the area," Smith said.
