Philadelphia Eagles fans and likely Chip Kelly along with the team's front office have been waiting with baited breath for the past week regarding the futures of Vice President of Player Personnel Tom Gamble and quarterbacks coach Bill Lazor, and Tuesday brought some clarity to both situations.
NFL Network's Albert Breer first reported that Gamble would remain in his current post as an influential member of the Eagles front office, after interviewing with the Miami Dolphins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week.
Gamble has made it known that he is a believer of Kelly's program hopes to build on this season's success. The fact that Gamble's father, Harry lives in South Jersey likely played into his decision.

Lazor, meanwhile, will not be returning as first reported by ESPN's Ed Werder. The 41-year old is expected to be hired as the Detroit Lions offensive coordinator.
