Area Residents Remember Sept. 11th

Three Manayunk residents expressed where they were and how they found out about the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.  

Megan Smith was getting ready for class, Cyndi Manley was running a daycare, and Father Leonard Lewandowski had just finished Mass. These individuals had three separate stories with one common theme – fear.  

Whether it was fear for their lives and the lives of their families, or fear of what was happening to the country, each person struggled to fathom what the attacks on September 11 would mean and how it would change their lives.
