Gas Prices Hold Steady
Prices at the pump were relatively unchanged in Manayunk and Roxborough these past seven days.
No news really is good news, at least when it comes to gasoline.
After many consecutive weeks of sometimes double-digit cent price increases, area gas prices--minor fluctuations notwithstanding--have stayed basically the same since last week. The lone exception to the stasis is the Wawa on 6608 Ridge Avenue, where prices have risen six cents per gallon in the last seven days.
Is this stability an anomaly or a the beginning of a trend? Time, as it does reliably, will tell.

As for the moment, the cheapest place to purchase gasoline within our Patch is the Sunoco on 6201 Ridge Avenue, where regular unleaded is available for $4.00 (Though if you're willing to pay in cash, the US station at 7728 Ridge has them beat by two cents). The most expensive station is the BP on 5643 Ridge Avenue, where regular unleaded sells for $4.14.
