Update: NWS Predicts Light Snow Through Wednesday Night

The snow is expected to start in the afternoon.

Update: The National Weather service is predicting that snow will hit the Philadelphia area between 3 and 9 p.m. on Wednesday.

Accumulation is not expected to exceed 1 inch and any snowfall is expected to end "quickly after 9 p.m.," according to reports.

There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation.

During rush hour, light snow could continue to about 7 p.m.—that accumulation is also predicted at less than 1 inch.
