Norristown Crash Alters Regional Rail Service

Bus services replaces train between two Norristown stops.

An afternoon truck crash over train tracks is causing headaches for those taking the regional rail to and from Norristown.

According to SEPTA, all routes along the Manayunk/Norristown regional rail line will end and begin at Norristown Transit Center. Until train lines are restored, a bus route will substitute services to Main and Elm Street Stations in Norristown.

Trains will run normally from Center City through Manayunk and Conshohocken. Passengers originating from or who are trying to get to Norristown will notice impacted service.
