Check out some fun things going on in your neck of the woods this weekend.

There's going to be a pretty cool food festival at the beginning of this weekend at the Wyck House. You'll also have the opportunity to recycle electronics sitting around your house.

Summer Jazz on Fridays
- Where/When:
Little Treehouse Play Café, 10 W. Gravers Lane, Friday evening until 8 p.m.
- Why Go:
The Little Treehouse is offering evening jazz as a way to relax and enjoy the outdoors. This week’s music will be provided by pianist Kami Mazzeo.
- Pricing:
Free music; regular menu prices for food.

Ethical Electronics Recycling Event
- Where/When:
Chestnut Hill Friends Meeting Parking Lot, 100 E. Mermaid Lane, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Why Go:
The Environment Committee is co-sponsoring a free electronics recycling collection. Get rid of unwanted electronics responsibly at this community event.
- Pricing:
Free, but voluntary donations suggested.

Wyck Community Food Festival
- Where/When:
Wyck House, 6026 Germantown Ave., Friday from 4 to 7 p.m.
- Why Go:
This free community festival will feature local food tastings—including food from Wyck’s Home Farm—along with cooking demonstrations, live music, children’s activities and more. Whole Foods Market, Grid Magazine, The Food Trust, and Historic Germantown will join in this celebration of food and foodways.

Weavers Way Sidewalk BBQ
- Where/When:
Weavers Way, 559 Carpenter Lane, Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Why Go:
Enjoy grilled food, music and Central American crafts from a member and local vendor.

 22nd Annual Manayunk Arts Festival
- Where/When:
Along Main Street from the intersection of Main and Green Lane to the intersection of Main and Shurs Lane on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Why Go:
It’s one of the region’s largest annual outdoor arts festivals, featuring original art, handmade jewelry and one-of-a-kind housewares.
- Pricing:

Philadelphia Insurance Triathlon
- Where/When:
The transition area is at Martin Luther King Drive, near the base of Black Road (parking in front of and behind the Please Touch Museum, 4231 Avenue of the Republic), Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Why Go:
Watch world-class and amateur athletes compete in a sprint race or Olympic triathlon.
