Second Annual Devereux Family Resilience Conference: Supporting Families with Special Needs

Devereux, a leading national nonprofit behavioral healthcare organization, is sponsoring the second annual "Devereux Family Resilience Conference: Supporting Families with Special Needs." This year's conference, created to promote advocacy and provide resources to families caring for loved ones with special needs, is free to the public

The daylong conference, hosted by Marilyn Benoit, M.D., SVP and Chief Clinical Officer of Devereux and past president of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, features a keynote speech by Robert Naseef, Ph.D., an autism advocate and author, open forum discussions and workshops on medication management, legal issues, behavior management and educational needs.

Throughout the day parents and caregivers will have the opportunity to interact with professionals in a variety of fields and learn how to best support both children and adults with special needs, including children on the autism spectrum. Devereux doctors, clinicians and therapists will also be on-site to offer education and resources.
