Proceeds from the walk help to fund state programs that enhance the lives of people with IDD. Since 2009, more than 40,000 participants have walked in 22 states and raised over $3 million for Best Buddies International.

“This is a great event for young and old,” says Amanda Fullmer, Director, State Operations, Best Buddies International. “It’s a day that celebrates friendship, which is at the core of the Best Buddies mission.  So, I invite everyone to take part in the festivities and join the movement to enhance the lives of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.”
