Celebrity Mascots to Help Salvation Army During Christmas in July Campaign

The month-long Christmas in July fundraising campaign begins this week in Philadelphia.

Local celebrity mascots will join Salvation Army of Greater Philadelphia volunteers to ring in the month-long Christmas in July fundraising campaign with the very first kettle day this Wednesday throughout Philadelphia.

"To make the public aware of the urgency to provide basic needs funding for struggling Philadelphians, special celebrity guests will join The Salvation Army to ring the bells at the Bellevue at Broad and Walnut, the Shops at Liberty Place at 17th and Chestnut, the Clothespin on 15th and Market Streets, 10th and
Chestnut Streets, and outside the Loews Hotel at 12th and Market," an announcement on Patch said.
