 $20 Worth Fresh Produce for Philadelphians 60+

 Wouldn't you like to get $20.00 worth of free fruits and vegetables? Read on to see if you meet the guidelines! The Center at Journey’s Way, 403 Rector St. is pleased to be distributing produce vouchers worth $20.00 to Philadelphia residents age 60+ to spend on PA-grown produce at designated farmers’ markets. To be eligible, Philadelphians must  (1) show proof that they live in Philadelphia; (2) show proof that they are age 60 + by 12/31/12; (3)  verbally declare that their total 2011 household income was no more than $20,665 for an individual or $27,991 for two people; (4) pick up vouchers in person and sign. Don't wait til the last minute --we may run out!

 The Center at Journey’s Way, a division of Intercommunity Action, Inc, welcomes adults 55+ . Their programs and classes include fitness, technology, art and trips; services such as transportation assistance to the Center, doctor, and food market; housing counseling; volunteer opportunities; cold and hot lunches; and much more! If you know of an older adult who needs help managing, the Adult Day Service Center at Journey's Way provides meals, snacks, and fun activities in a supportive, medically supervised setting.  For further information about produce vouchers, the Center, or the Adult Day Service Center, please call  Journey’s Way at (215) 487-1750.
