Friends of Wissahickon Hosting Service Day

The Friends of the Wissahickon will host a park clean up day in Honor of Martin Luther King Day.

The following is a press release from the Friends of the Wissahickon.

Join the Friends of the Wissahickon (FOW) on Martin Luther King Day of Service on Monday, January 20, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Volunteers will meet at Historic RittenhouseTown to remove debris on and around the Lincoln Drive Trail.

To register, contact FOW Volunteer Coordinator Eric Falk at falk@fow.org. Registration is not required but is recommended in order to be notified in case of any changes due to weather.  Workdays will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain or snow.
