Car Club Raises $2,000 for Gorgas Park at Rock'n the Ridge

With perfect temperatures and sun gleaming on a Ridge Avenue decked out with classic cars,  celebrated the 10th-annual Rockin'n the Ridge Car Show and May Fair Saturday.

Roxborough closed traffic from Leverington to Fountain streets, as residents and tourists gathered for the community festival featuring local vendors, games, food, and—most impressively—classic cars from across the Delaware Valley.

The Roxborough Ridge Runners presented Friends of   with $2,000, and Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams was on hand to help pass out awards and raffle winners.
