No Time? Pre-Made Thanksgiving Dinner Could Be The Way To Go

A number of local shops are offering stress-free holiday meals.

Did Thanksgiving creep up on you this year? Not sure how you're going to get the big meal done in time? Now you don't have to. There are a number of local places that are looking to take the stress out of the holiday with pre-made Thanksgiving meals.

  • is offering a pre-cooked turkey with enough mashed potatoes, stuffing, spinach and gravy to feed eight to 10 people for $49.99. While there is no order deadline, a ShopRite employee said the sooner the better!
  • is offering the classic Thanksgiving dinner for $49.99. The meal includes turkey, gravy, stuffing and mashed potatoes for 8 to 10 people. The in the 5900 block of Ridge is also featuring a feast for a larger brood. This package, going for $74.99, has the turkey, stuffing, gravy and mashed potatoes but also includes sweet potatoes, cranberries, string beans, dinner rolls and a pumpkin or apple pie.
  • is offering a turkey or ham dinner complete with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, creamed spinach for $49.99. That meal also feeds 8 to 10.
  • is taking turkey orders for $3.49 per pound or $4.99 per pound for an organic turkey. There is no cut off for orders, but the butcher suggested no later than Tuesday.
  • The Valley Green Inn is offering a Thanksgiving Buffet from 12 to 7 p.m. It is $36.95 for adults and $14.95 for children ages three to 10. According to its website, spots fill up fast and reservations should be made sooner rather than later. The buffet will feature traditional turkey, herb roasted prime rib and smoked country ham with lavendar honey glaze. Thanksgiving staples such as stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie are also a part of the feast. To see the full menu, click here.
