October Snow Worst On Record For Peco

According to a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal

It felt more like January than October Saturday, when snow blanketed the area and had people scrambling for snow shovels and car windshield scrapers.

But, after most of the snow melted, a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal states that the October Noreaster was record-breaking for PECO.

"The Philadelphia-based electric and gas utility said early Sunday morning that more than 150,000 of its customers still were without power and some would remain that way through the weekend," the article stated.

Although the article states that only about 400 Philadelphia residents experienced power outages because of the snow, Patch readers agreed that it was too early for the white stuff.
