Looking let wet weather Saturday

Will it snow... yes or no?

First the forecast said yes. Then Friday morning it was no.

As of Friday afternoon, snow was back in the National Weather Service Forecast.

Storms move, conditions change and so do forecasts. Hey, this is the Northeast, not southern California.

The "S" word made for some great TV weather excitement on Wednesday and Thursday but by Friday morning there was no mention of flurries in the National Weather Service Forecast for the Philadelphia area. Now the S-word (SNOW) is back in for Saturday. According to the National Weather Service, Philadelphiacould see a mix of rain and snow after 5 p.m. and a slight chance of snow after 2 a.m. with a low of 34 degrees.

No matter what falls, it appears the sun returns, appropriately enough, on Sunday when the Eagles host the Dallas Cowboys in a Sunday night game.

The Philadelphia area had more than 40 inches of snow last winter, roughly twice as much as a normal winter.
