Manayunk Italian Eatery Makes Regional Restaurant List

One Manayunk Italian restaurant is hanging with the big boys. In a top 30 list compiled by Philadelphia Magazine,  was named one of the region's best Italian restaurants.

With a rich Italian heritage, Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs boast a score of amazing bistros, trattorias and Italian kitchens that replicate (and sometimes surpass) what mom used to make. 

Still a fairly newcomer to Main Street, Gemelli is the only Manayunk or Roxborough representative on the Philly Mag list—coming in at number 12. The magazine spotlights the "veal bolognese with sweetbreads" in addition to Gemelli's extensive wine list.
