Winner—Readers' Choice: Best Hoagie

Who won the weekly poll?

The results are in and readers chose as their favorite hoagie in the Roxborough-Manayunk area for this week's  contest.

This week, readers got very involved in the proceedings. The winner was based on several criteria, as we established when the poll opened on Monday.

Patch employs a system that weighs votes in the poll and comments on the business's listing in our directory. From there, we use comments on the article itself.

The Roxborough ended up with the most poll votes. However, the readers spoke—literally— in favor of T & F Farmers Pride, making it our winner.

"T&F are the absolute best. Remind me of the sandwiches I used to get when I lived in South Philly. Their service is the best and their staff superb," A. Cunningham said.

Another reader, Frankie Knows Best, said: "As (far) as hoagies go, you can search far and wide but never find one as good as T&Fs."

Although T & F won, you'll have to wait until at least May 24 to try it out. The shop is to a car accident. Owner Tony DeLizzio said it should next Thursday.

In addition to Wawa, also did well.
