$3,000 in Cash Stolen from Home

A man told police that he had $3,000 in cash stolen from his home in the 7700 block of Lawnton Street.

According to police, a burglar entered the home in an unknown manner sometime between 7:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 25. 

The man told police that he counted his money before leaving that morning, and when he returned, everything seemed fine until he felt a draft on his neck from an open window.

Later, while putting away his laundry, the man discovered that the money had been taken, police said.
