A man returns home to find $7,000 worth of jewelry stolen from his home.
A man returned home to discover that more than $7,000 worth of jewelry had been stolen from his home in the 500 block of Wigard Ave.
According to police, the man was away from his home from 3 p.m. on Nov. 8 until 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 9, police said.
When he turned home, police said that he noticed a basement window open, and that the rear door was unlocked from the inside.
The man checked the rest of the home and found that several drawers throughout the home had been opened and rifled through.
