According to online court documents, in 2009 he was arrested and charged with patronizing prostitutes and disorderly conduct.

In the affidavit of probable cause in that case, an alleged victim accused Pagano of approaching her while she was walking and offering her $20 to rub on his penis a block of cheese that he was holding. According to the woman, as she ran away he offered her more money.
