Car in Delco Hit-And-Run Recovered in Roxborough
The hit-and-run accident left a Havertown teen in critical condition.
Michael Donohue, who owns a home in Roxborough and is a former prosecutor with the Delaware County District Attorney's Office, was charged with aggravated assault and other related charges Monday following his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run accident that left a Havertown teenager in critical condition.
“He knew we were closing in on him,” Upper Darby Police Superintendent Michael Chitwood said, adding that police had enough probable cause after interviewing 12 witnesses to search Donohue’s other residence in Roxborough on Nov. 6, where police recovered the car involved in the accident.
“He lawyered up. He made no statements,” Chitwood said when asked if Donohue said anything to the police.
