CVS Arrest Unrelated to Surveillance Thefts

Police arrest man for unrelated shoplifting on Main Street.

arrested a man for thefts from in an incident unrelated to recently a released surveillance video.

On March 12, police responded to the Main Street CVS on a report of shoplifting. Peter Campbell, 56, was arrested for shoplifting items, a police communication official said. 

At 8:20 p.m., a store employee witnessed Campbell trying to take assorted vitamins and enhancement pills without paying for them.

Police arrived, arrested Campbell and transported him to the Northwest Detective Division for processing.

Earlier in March, Northwest of a man stealing similar items from the same CVS.

However, police communication said Monday that Campbell was not the same person.

Police invite the public to contact the Northwest Detective Division at 215-686-3353 with any information on the original thefts. People should not approach the male, and instead should call 911 if seen.
