Diamond Necklace Stolen, Police Say

A man and a woman also break in to a unoccupied home for sale.

Theft: On March 23, at approximately 9:30 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 300 block of Ripka Street.  According to police, a diamond bracelet was stolen from a dresser drawer in the rear bedroom.  Police say that there was no sign of forced entry, and the victim told police that there were two other people present in the home at the time of the robbery.

Burglary: On March 24, at approximately 1:42 a.m., police received a radio call for a male and female entering a home with a for sale sign in the 4300 block of Mitchell Street.  Upon arrival, police observed a broken side window to the residence then observed the two burglars on the third floor.  Upon entering the residence, police arrested the man and woman and transported them for processing.
