Domino Lane Assault Reported

The following arrest information was supplied by the 5th District of the Philadelphia Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two men reportedly assaulted a Roxborough man Feb. 18 at 10 p.m.

said a man at Ridge Avenue and Domino Lane noticed four men glaring at him. Two of them then approached him, and reportedly began beating him.

The man ran to Tony Roni's Pizza for help. He suffered a bloody face and a broken jaw, and was treated at Temple University Hospital.

Nothing was reported taken nor were the perpetrators captured, police said.

Stolen Shawmont Truck Recovered

In a routine traffic stop Feb. 15, Philadelphia Police identified a stolen vehicle, arrested its driver and returned the car to its owner.

Police pulled over a 1994 green Ford F-150 on 2800 Kensington Ave. at 9:45 p.m. for broken lights. While running the tags, officer realized the truck was reported stolen by a Shawmont resident.

While investigating the vehicle, police found a damaged ignition and screwdriver. Police arrested the driver.

The truck owner produced proper documentation, and the car was returned to him.

Wings to Go Update

In February, was burglarized overnight Feb. 13. According to police, unknown persons took $18,000 from the Ridge Avenue restaurant.

Police said perpetrators entered from the roof, as sheet rock covered the floor. Reported missing were the contents of two cash registers and a safe.

Several fingerprints were lifted, and the Northwest Detective Division is investigating the incident.

Lesser Kohl's Theft Yields Arrest

Though not related to the reported in February, police arrested a woman Feb. 14 for reportedly stealing about $220 worth of jewelry.

At 12:30 p.m. at the Henry Avenue store, store security observed a woman who concealed the merchandise and attempted to leave Kohl's. They detained her, and Philadelphia Police arrived and arrested the woman.
