Handgun Stolen from Roxborough Home, Police Say

Theft: On April 29, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police received a report of a theft in the 400 block of Leverington Ave.  According to police, an unknown person cut the registration sticker off of a car parked on that street.

Theft: On April 22, at approximately 3:40 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 900 block of Cathedral Road.  According to police, a metal gas can was stolen from the resident’s driveway.

Burglary: On April 15, police received a report of a theft in the 400 block of Markle Street at 4:50 p.m.  According to police, someone removed the lockbox from the door of the home located at that address and entered the home.  Police said that the living room and bedroom were ransacked and that several items were taken from the residence.  The stolen items include a nine-millimeter handgun, a LED television and a digital camera.  Police value the stolen items at over $2,000.
