Lincoln Drive Reopened, Tree Blocks Lanes Near Harvey Street

It was closed because of an accident, according to police.

Updated: 5 p.m.

Lincoln Drive is back open after being closed in both directions earlier in the afternoon north of Gypsy Lane because of a car accident, according to police. But a downed tree is now blocking northbound lanes of Lincoln Drive near Harvey Street.

Cars are getting by in both directions—they're alternating directions by using the southbound lanes near Harvey Street and near a traffic light at Wissahickon Avenue. But it's moving very slowly, and there are a lot of car horns being honked near the scene.
