Drug Dealers Attack Man, Police Say

The victim told police he asked the men to stop selling drugs in his neighborhood.

Three men attacked and robbed a man in the 400 block of Domino Lane on May 6, after the man asked the attackers to stop selling drugs in his neighborhood, police said.

According to police, the man approached the three attackers at around 7 p.m., after he witnessed them selling drugs repeatedly on his block.

The three drug dealers then attacked the man, and a fight broke out, police said.

In the process of the fight, the three attackers stole the man’s wallet and glasses, police said.

The three men fled the scene but were stopped in the 5100 block of Umbria Street by a police officer on routine patrol, police said.

The man positively identified two of his attackers, and he told police that the third attacker fled the scene in a grey Subaru.

Police later located the Subaru and the man’s wallet was in the vehicle, police said.
