Man Attacked With Garden Hoe, Police Say

An argument at work escalates quickly.

Two men got into an altercation at work on Oct. 17 that resulted in one man being struck with a garden hoe, police said.

The two men were at a work site in the 7500 block of Henry Avenue when they got into a verbal altercation at around 12:20 p.m., police said.

According to police, one of the men told his coworker that when they got back to the shop he was going to kill his coworker.

The coworker then picked up a garden hoe and struck the man twice, police said, once to the left arm and once to the back.

The man wielding the garden hoe then fled the scene, police said.
