Man Robbed at Gunpoint on Cresson, Police Say

Also Methadone and Xanax stolen from a man's room in a separate police report.

Robbery: On March 17, at approximately 1:30 a.m., police received a report of a robbery in the 4400 block of Cresson Street.  According to police, a man was stopped on the street by a group of unknown males.  Police say that one of the men pointed a handgun at the victim and took his cell phone and wallet.  Police say that the victim was treated for injuries to his head and face at Roxborough Hospital.

Theft: On March 18, at approximately 1 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 6100 block of Ridge Avenue.  According to police, a large amount of prescription drugs were stolen from a man’s room.  The pills taken included 60 Methadone pills and 90 Xanax pills.
