Mayor Nutter's Daughter Assaulted in Mt. Airy

An 18-year-old girl attacked Olivia Nutter at a track meet last Thursday.

An 18-year-old woman has been accused of assaulting Mayor Michael Nutter’s daughter, Olivia, at a track meet in East Mt. Airy on Thursday, April 18.

The assault occurred at 5:44 p.m., at the Morris E. Leeds Middle School located in the 1100 block of East Mount Pleasant Ave., police said.

Court documents said the teen punched Mayor Nutter’s daughter in the head and pulled her hair.

The female then fled the scene and was arrested on Monday near the 5900 block of North Broad Street, police said.

She faces misdemeanor charges for simple assault and reckless endangerment, according to court documents.

Nutter’s daughter is a senior at the Julia R. Masterman Middle and High School.

The mayor's daughter first rose to prominance when she appeared in a campaign ad with him during the 2007 election season.
