Mostly Thefts in This Week's Police Reports

Theft ... A gold diamond ring, a gold band, a coin pendant, a gold chain, a gold cat pendant and a small diamond chest, worth a total of $4,200, was taken from a residence in the 6100 block of Henry Avenue between 10 p.m. July 9 and 4 p.m. July 10, police said. 

Theft ... The window of a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Bells Mill Road was broken between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. July 9 and a handbag, three bank cards, a cell phone and set of house keys were stolen.

Theft ... Approximately $80 cash and various forms of identification were stolen from a car parked in the 8500 block of Henry Avenue between 11 and 11:30 p.m. July 12, police said, adding that the method of entry was unknown. 

Theft ... Between 12 and 2:20 a.m. July 12, a car parked in the 400 block of Summit Avenue was entered and her stereo, Ipod, wallet with credit cards and forms of identification were stolen, police said, adding that the stolen items total approximately $900. 

Theft ... A car parked in the 200 block of Grape Street was stolen between 7 p.m. July 12 and 12 p.m. July 13, police said. Items in the vehicle included her phone charged, AAA emergency kit, 20 cds and one car seat, police added. 

Theft ... The window of a car parked in the 4400 block of Cresson Street was entered between 7 p.m. July 12 and 12 p.m. July 13, police said, adding that a $30 cell phone charger was missing.

Theft ... The window of a car parked in the 4500 block of Silverwood Street was broken between 6 p.m. July 12 and 7:15 a.m. July 13, police said, adding that vehicle was ransacked but nothing appeared missing. 

Theft ... The window of a car parked in the 100 block of Green Lane was broken between 9 p.m. July 12 and 8:30 a.m. July 13, police said, adding that a $300 navigation system was stolen. 

Theft ... A car parked in the 200 block of Ripka Street was stolen between 5 a.m. July 11 and 10 p.m. July 14, police said, adding that the vehicle was locked. 

Theft ... A $120 navigation system was stolen from a car parked at Shawmont Avenue and Nixon Street between 6:30 and 10 p.m. July 13, police said. There were no signs of forced entry, police added. 

Burglary ... Between 7 p.m. July 14 and 6:30 a.m. July 15, someone broke drywall through the bathroom and entered the Getty Gas Station, 5700 Ridge Avenue, police said, adding that 20 state inspection stickers, 10 cartons of cigarettes, various tools and five cases of oil, worth a total of $3,390, were taken.
