A man was taken to Temple University Hospital Thursday after he was struck by a car in the 8100 block of Henry Avenue at 1:40 p.m., Philadelphia police said.
The man, whose age is unknown, is in extremely critical condition, police said, adding that they believe the striking vehicle remained at the scene following the incident.
The incident is still under investigation, police added.
