A first grade student in Philadelphia brought nine packets of drugs to school Tuesday, according to media reports.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that a teacher at John Barry Elementary School found a student playing with what looked like packets of white powder.

According to 6ABC, nine packets of narcotics were located in the classroom.

Police and paramedics were notified of the incident, which happened shortly after noon. Twenty children in the classroom were transported to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia after the incident as a precaution, 6ABC reported. 

The incident remains under investigation.
