Pick Pocket Strikes in Manayunk, Police Say

$5,000 worth of jewelry was also stolen from a home in Roxborough.

Burglary: On Feb. 27, at approximately 12 p.m., police received a report of a burglary in the 6100 block of Henry Avenue. According to police, the apartment was broken into with no signs of forced entry. Police say that more than $5,000 in jewelry was stolen including three rings, a watch and a pair of earrings.

Theft: On Feb. 26, at approximately 7 p.m., police received a report of a theft in the 4100 block of Main Street. According to police, a woman was bumped into by an unknown person and later discovered her wallet missing. Police believe the woman was a victim of a pick pocket
