Pizza Delivery Guy Robbed on Salaignac

Police report three men robbed Toni Roni's delivery driver.

While out on a pizza order, a delivery man was robbed by three men earlier in July, Philadelphia Police said.

A driver for Toni Roni's in Roxborough was robbed July 15 at 3:15 p.m. on the 300 block of Salaignac St., according to police.

The driver arrived at his destination and hopped out of the vehicle, when three men approached him. They asked if he had a cigarette, which he said no.

Then, the driver told police, one man grabbed him by his shirt, while the others went through his pockets. The man reported $300 taken in addition to black Nike sneakers. No weapons were used.

The men fled on foot to the 3800 block of Lauriston St. Police said the driver sustained no injuries.

No detailed descriptions were available of the thieves, police said.
