Police Connect Andorra Acme Theft to Mt. Airy Wawa Video

Philadelphia Police Department rereleases surveillance video from April theft.

Philadelphia Police re-released surveillance footage of an Andorra theft after finding more information and a new accomplice.

In May, , while another woman distracted her. The original footage included only video from the theft and the accomplices entering the store April 26.

On Friday, police update the video to feature car information and another person involved.

Using surveillance footage from a Mt. Airy Wawa, police connected the same car, driven by a new accomplice, with the male and female who were using the woman's stolen credit card.

Footage from the Acme and Wawa show a silver, late model Chevy Monte Carlo in both instances.

In the new video, police indicate another accomplice who drove the car, as a black male 5-foot-8-inches to 5-foot-10-inches tall, of a stocky build, medium complexion, light facial hair, wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, glasses, jeans, white sneakers and a New York Yankees cap.

The original descriptions still stand:

  • Individual #1: Black male, 30-40 years-of-age, beard, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
  • Individual #2: Black female, 30-40 years-of-age, dressed in black garb and a dark colored pocketbook.

If residents see the individuals, police warn not to approach them and to contact 911 immediately.

In addition, police ask residents with any info to contact police via telephone, 215-686-TIPS (8477) or text a tip to PPD TIP or 773847. People may use this electronic form to submit a tip anonymously.
