Two assaults were reported in Roxborough and Wissahickon July 7, Philadelphia Police said.
Early that Saturday at 2:20 a.m., a male came to an apartment at 7000 Ridge Ave., and police said, pointed a handgun at his 5-year-old daughter and the child's mother.
Police said the man, the woman's ex-boyfriend, stopped by the apartment to "see who was inside." He entered the daughter's room and threatened the child and mother.
The woman told the man she called police, and he fled. Police interviewed her and learned that he had previously threatened the daughter.
Later that same day, at 10:45 p.m. a couple got into an argument on the 100 block of Rochelle Ave.
As the arguement wore on, the female pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed her boyfriend on his left upper arm.
He called police, and she was arrested. Police did not disclose her name.
The man was transported to Roxborough Memorial Hospital, but no stitches were required.
