Police Reports: Juveniles Graffiti School; Art Stolen During Eco Fest

Theft ... On Sept. 16 at 11 a.m., it was reported that a license plate was stolen from a car parked in the 700 block of Manatawna Avenue, police said.

Theft ... A $300 storm drain grate was stolen from the 300 block of Autumn River Run between 4 p.m. Sept. 18 and 9 a.m. Sept. 19, police said, adding that on Sept. 15 other grates were reported missing from the property.

Theft ... Four tires and four rims, worth apporximately $2,000, were stolen from a car parked in the 300 block of Pensdale Street between 12 and 8 a.m. Sept. 20, police said.

Theft ... On Sept. 20 at 2:30 a.m., it was reported that five blue canvas bags containing the prior day's receipts and $2,000 cash were stolen from the rear closet of Peck Miller's Bar, 6119 Ridge Avenue, police said, adding that there were no signs of forced entry.

Theft ... A woman was arrested Sept. 20 at 6:04 p.m. after attempting to steal $94 worth of merchandise from Kohls, 8500 Henry Avenue, police said.

Theft ... A man and woman were arrested Sept. 20 at 3 p.m. after they attempted to steal $200 worth of items from Kohls, 8500 Ridge Avenue, police said.

Theft ... A customer at ACME, 5927 Ridge Avenue, forget his $400 Iphone at the checkout counter Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. and left the store, police said, adding that when he returned a short time later the phone was gone.

Theft ... A woman was arrested Sept. 21 at 5:30 p.m. after she attempted to steal $62 worth of items from ShopRite, 6901 Ridge Avenue, police said.

Theft ... The building manager of the Green Country Court Apartments, 7841 Ridge Avenue, contacted police Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. after discovering that two 28-foot aluminum ladders, worth a total of $400, were stolen from the property, police said.

Theft ... Two juveniles were arrested Sept. 23 at 7:56 p.m. after the school police officer at Levering Elementary, 6000 Ridge Avenue, found the two in possession of several markers and a set of keys that gave them access entire building, police said, adding that a search of building revealed graffiti on the walls of the school's fourth floor.

Theft ... A woman was arrested Sept. 23 at 12:30 p.m. after she attempted to steal $52 worth of merchandise from Rite Aid, 5911 Ridge Avenue, police said.

Theft ... A resident of the 500 block of Shawmont Avenue contacted police Sept. 24 at 5 a.m. after he saw two people exiting his car that had been left unlocked, police said, adding that a purse containg personal information, bank and credit cards was taken.

Theft ... Between 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 and 10:30 a.m. Sept. 25, it was reported that a $150 iron candelabra was stolen from an unsecured tent during the EcoArts Festival, police said.

Theft ... On Sept. 25 at 11:15 a.m. it was reported that a man attempted to steal five cases of baby formula from ShopRite, 6901 Ridge Avenue, police said, adding that when he was approached he dropped the merchandise and fled the store on foot.
