Police Reports: Two Manayunk Garden Apartments Burglarized

The following arrest information was supplied by the 5th district police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Burglary ... On Oct. 17 between 7:30 a.m. and 8:15 p.m., it was reported that a home in the 300 block of Rector Street was forcibly entered but nothing appeared missing or disturbed, police said.

Theft ... A $36 state tag was stolen from a car parked in the 4000 block of Pechin Street between 10 and 11:45 a.m. Oct. 17, police said.

Burglary ... A home in the 4300 block of Terrace Street was forcibly entered between 12 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 17, police said, adding that an Ipod, $105 cash and 30 prescription pills were taken.

Theft ... The window of a car parked in the Andorra Shopping Center was smashed betwee 9 and 10 p.m. Oct. 14 and two cell phones, worth $400 total, were stolen, police said.

Burglary ... Between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., an apartment in the 3900 block of Manayunk Avenue was forcibly entered, police said, adding that $1,100 worth of items, including an Xbox and laptop, were taken.

Theft ... A wallet, containing credit cards, a driver's license, vehicle registration and $80 cash, was stolen from Hot Box Yoga, 4163 Main Street between 6 and 9 p.m. Oct. 17 while the owner was taking a yoga class, police said, adding that it was discovered that $700 worth of items were charged to her credit card after it was stolen.

Burglary ... Between 8 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. Oct. 18, an apartment in the 3900 block of Manayunk Avenue was forcibly entered and $3,000 worth of items, including two laptops, an external hard drive and various articles of clothing and shoes, were taken, police said.

Theft ... A $348 television was stolen from a home in the 100 block of Roxborough Avenue between Oct. 17 and Oct. 18, police said.

Theft ... Two computer monitors, a printer and a computer desktop, worth a total of $1,200, were stolen from a home in the 4200 block of Pechin Street between 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. Oct. 19, police said.

Theft ... On Oct. 19 it was reported that between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., a woman's wallet, containing her license, Green card, Social Security card, several credit cards and another person's Social Security card, were stolen from under her desk at work in the 6100 block of Ridge Avenue, police said.

Theft ... A Wyndmoor woman was arrested Oct. 19 at 2 p.m. after she attempted to steal three cans of baby formula, worth $77, from ShopRite, 6901 Ridge Avenue, police said.

Theft ... A car parked in the lot of the Restaurant Depot, 5002 Ridge Avenue was broken into between 1:25 and 2 p.m. Oct. 20, police said, adding that $1,150 worth of items including a Coach pocketbook, containing credit cards, keys, $102 cash, a cell phone, and another bag containing $130 cash, a phone and various credit cards, were stolen.

Theft ... More than $1,000 worth of jewelry was reported missing from a home in the 200 block of Greenough Street Oct. 19, police said, adding that there was no sign of forced entry and the resident said a number of people have access to the home.

Theft ... Between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 2:31 p.m. Oct 21, it was reported that a $36 state tag was stolen from a car parked in the 200 block of Leverington, police said.

Theft ... The license plate of a car parked in the 3700 block of Sharp Street was stolen between 6:30 p.m. Oct. 20 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 21, police said.
