Purse Snatchers Caught at Mad River
Bar security at Mad River Manayunk helps apprehend a pair of alleged purse snatchers.
Police arrested a man and a woman at Mad River Manayunk on Nov. 8 at 1:57 a.m. after customers at the bar saw the pair steal a woman’s purse, police said.
The owner of the purse saw the man and woman grab it and run upstairs to the men’s room, police said.
The owner of the purse informed security of the situation, and the security guard confronted the alleged thieves, police said.
