A spokesperson for PECO said that it is illegal for anyone to hunt on PECO property, but the spokesperson said that it does often happen in the throughways owned by the company.

The spokesperson advised that anyone who sees or suspects that illegal hunting is occurring on a PECO property that they should call the police.

“This is something we’ve been dealing with for awhile now,” Volker said.  “First, we got people to stop using rifles, then we got them to stop using high-powered bows and now it looks like they are using traps.”
