Philadelphia Police said a Roxborough apartment was held up at gunpoint by two armed robbers in December.

On Dec. 21, two men invaded an apartment at 7625 Ridge Ave. at 1 a.m., police said.

One robber entered through a window and pointed a revolver at a witness in the apartment and said, "Where does he keep his money?"

Before they took anything, they fled, police said.

However, when police arrived, they found $8,500 in cash and marijuana at the property, which they seized.

No arrests occurred at the time and no injuries were reported.

Too bad the community didn't know sooner so we could be on the lookout.

Actually, there were arrests. The home was the resident of drug dealers, which is why they were home invaded in the first place. The residents were arrested at time of home invasion for the drugs and money they had. A black male was also arrested on a side street over by Shawmont school for thethe home invadsion. This neighborhood is beginning to get over run by drugs. None of the people involved in this were from this area. The drug dealers are beginning to rent apartments in this are because they have realized the 5th district doesn't want to accept that there is a drug. The burglaries and theft from autos are being committed by mostly drug addicted people. Deal with the drugs and watch how the other crime rates begin to go down.
